Alejandro de los Santos
Alejandro de los Santos holds a degree in Communication from Seville University, a masters in Intercultural communication from Paris IV-Sorbonne and a post-graduate course at the Lisbon’s Università Técnica. He has worked as a cultural producer in Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Mozambique, Niger and Mali. He has taught at Brasilia University, where he set up numerous literary and cinema projects. He is the founder, critic and writer of the web magazine Afribuku.com, the esteemed Spanish language platform on contemporary African culture. He is author of the book Mafalala: guida culturale del quartiere storico di Maputo (2012). Since 2013 he has worked as assistant director and co-programmer in the Tarifa-Tangier African film festival.
